Good News for the Community Meal....

Immanuel United Church of Christ at the corner of Oak and Doty Streets in Neenah has a mission to help feed the hungry.  Members of Immanuel United Church of Christ are working to provide a hot, nutritious Free Community Meal on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.  Micah 6:8 “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

In December of 2011 we began this mission program inspired by cook, Tina Ferron, and the Gospel of Matthew 25:35 & 40, “for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. “I tell you; just as you did to one of the least of these you did it to me”. People are meeting people and forming friendships. Some stay the entire time to be social. It is becoming a little twice-a-month community and we are blessed.

If you are interested in contributing food items for our meal or food pantry, please feel free to contact Immanuel at 920-722-0381.  Everyone is invited to attend our community meal, volunteer, or donate items.
